Born in Patras. Studied Economics and Graphic Arts in Athens and Photography in Paris (1965-1970). In 1974 he returned to Athens and started working in Advertising Photography. In 1985 he founded FOCUS faculty of photography and video, which he directs to this day. Since 1993 he turned to artistic creation, and specifically in Photography, Video-art, Constructions and Installations

He has presented his work in 11 individual exhibitions in Greece and abroad and in numerous group exhibitions, including: “Focalization du Regard” in Western European Union’s Brussels HQ (1995), “Aspects of Greek Photography” in Nice’s Museum of Modern Art (1998),”Mesiac Fotografie” in Bratislava (1998), “I, Me My Self” in Rethymno’s Center for Contemporary Art (2001), “Periplo del Mediterraneo” in Genova’s Aca-demia Linguistica di Belle Arti (2004), “Dialogues” in the Athens’ Benaki Museum (2004 – with Makis Faros), “Photosynkyria” in Thessaloniki’s Museum of Photography (2004), and in co-operation with Athens-2004 Olympic Games Organizing Committee, realized during its duration, the installation “Tavern” (with Makis Faros) and many more. Part of his work belongs to private collections and Museums.
